A record number of respondents answered the Call launched by the Italian Commissioner’s Office for Expo 2020 Dubai and the Fondazione CRUI: a total of 7,971 students enrolled in Italian Universities, with a majority of young women, filed their expression of interest for the “Expo 2020 Dubai – Italian Universities” Apprenticeship Training Programme.

The most striking figure relative to this Call, which lasted barely two weeks, is the number of nationalities involved: more than 70.
Phase 2 of the Programme will kick off at 3 PM on Monday, 15 March: on that day a big event, broadcast live on the Facebook and YouTube channels of the Italy Pavilion, will present the Call for Tenders containing the necessary requirements to participate, the terms for participation and the phases of the selection procedure. After this, all the students will have time until the 1st of April to submit their final candidatures.
The mid-March event will alternatively present stories and testimonials of other youths who have participated in training experiences at the Italy Pavilion and the several initiatives that will be launched by the Italian Commissioner’s Office at Expo 2020 Dubai to facilitate the involvement in the Expo of all the respondents to the Call.
