The group MibHack20 with its project “Green Advisor” aimed at sustainable food & beverages services is the winner of “UniSustainathon: sustainability as an opportunity. Universities for Expo Dubai 2020,” the international hackathon organized by the University Network for Sustainable Development (RUS), the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development (ASviS), in collaboration with the Commissioner General’s Office for Italy’s participation in the next Universal Exhibition.

The app creates a digital network between consumers, food-service businesses and universities, raising awareness and promoting sustainable-consumption patterns and eating habits.
Sebastian Brocco, Anna Rita Ferrantino, Francesco Paladini, Michele Pasta, Annarita Vallese from Bicocca University and Anita Meraviglia from Statale University are the members of the team. They will receive voucher codes to pursue a Verified Certificate in an SDG Academy online course.
They will be candidates for the RUS Agenda 2030 competition that will select a project to be promoted in Dubai.
