Expo Dubai will be a precious opportunity to celebrate the economic recovery, and the fact that it has been postponed by one year will allow the participating companies to grasp the business opportunities even more.
The Institute for Foreign Commerce (ICE), the agency through which the Italian government promotes the consolidation and economic-commercial development of Italian companies on the foreign markets as well as direct foreign investments in our country, has long since taken this path together with the Commissioner’s Office for Italy’s participation in the Universal Exhibition.
During the “One year to go: the business system at Expo 2020” event, which was held in October last year in Rome at the presence of the (Italian) Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Manlio Di Stefano, Ali Khalifa Al Nuaimi of the Ministry of Development and of the United Arab Emirates Embassy in Italy, the Commissioner General for Italy at Expo Dubai, Paolo Glisenti, the President of ICE, Carlo Ferro, had pointed out the guidelines of this collaboration.
Ferro confirmed them in a contribution sent a few days ago to the Commissioner’s Office: “The Dubai event will be a great Universal Exhibition, an important occasion, a business opportunity for Italian companies,” he explained. “The ICE will stand beside businesses during the recovery, to bring as many of them as possible to meet in Dubai with as many foreign operators as possible”.
