Safeguard and guarantee access to water – these objectives have become increasingly urgent due to the pandemic which is ravaging the world. The National Lawyers’ Council and the Italian Commissioner’s Office for Italy’s participation in Expo Dubai have been working for some time together on the topic of the sustainability and availability of water resources – an issue which will give rise to some interesting discussions not only at initiatives organised at the Italy Pavilion but also with the other Countries at the Universal Exhibition.
“‘Connecting minds, creating the future’ are the inspirational words for Expo Dubai,” explains Francesco Greco, the Dubai Commission Coordinator of the National Lawyers’ Council, “but we cannot possibly think about forging the future without ensuring that basic human rights are respected and protected”.
