Italy continues its build-up towards the Dubai Universal Exhibition, postponed to the forthcoming 1st October 2021 as announced yesterday by the Bureau International des Expositions, the intergovernmental body that organises Universal Exhibitions.
Dozens of partners and sponsors of the Italy Pavilion, alongside representatives of the United Nations Organisation, explained what it meant to them being present at the Expo with video messages to the Commissioner’s Office for Italy’s participation.
Expo Dubai – according to company managers, associations involved in sustainability and agrifood issues, and the academic, scientific and cultural institutions – represents a golden opportunity for relaunching Italy’s economy and the image of the country’s productive system on the global scene.
The summary video of the interventions also underlines the fact that “Dubai will become a global gathering place where we can all debate about the major challenges of the present time and the future, enabling us to draw the best out of ourselves”.
“We will not stop,” declared the partners and sponsors, “and will continue preparing for the Expo with hope and determination”.
