“A great opportunity for relaunching our export sector and ‘Made in Italy’”. In a video message of solidarity and encouragement to businesses tackling the coronavirus emergency, the President of Confindustria Piemonte used these words in referring to Italy’s participation in Expo 2020 Dubai.
For Fabio Ravanelli, participation in the forthcoming Universal Exhibition, to be held in Dubai from 20 October 2020 to 10 April 2021, is one of the main initiatives which the Region must target to overcome the present critical situation: “Confindustria Piemonte is actively collaborating with the regional administrative authority in defining the measures required to tackle this crisis. Special emphasis must be placed on exports, with initiatives aimed at protecting ‘Made in Italy’ production, which risks being seriously undermined”.
