Owing to the widespread interest among operators and to favour the highest possible number of offers by small- and medium-sized companies, the Italian Commissioner General of Section for Expo 2020 Dubai has decided to extend the deadline for the notice relative to the search for sponsors of the Pavilion.
The new notice, which replaces the one published on 10 December last year, sets the deadline for submitting the offers at 7 February 2020.
The invitation is aimed at encouraging all interested public and private economic operators to submit sponsorship offers relating to the provision of services and supplies in various goods categories.
The notice differs from the previous two published during the course of 2019, which were aimed at technical partners for the creation of the Pavilion and economic operators without reference to specific goods categories, in that it is also open to non-EU economic operators.
The goods categories relevant to the notice include the following: furnishings; wooden flooring for the VIP Area; mosaic creation; creation of mirror-finish metal panel cladding; carpets, tapestries and textile products; sanitary wares; lighting technology; digital LED screens, IT equipment, telecommunications, laser measuring devices, augmented reality, digital wayfinding; production of Social Walls, data viewing, infographics, Dashboards (static and interactive); musical instruments; technical catering equipment (crockery, plates, glasses, saucepans, frying pans, trays, cups, etc.); catering appliances (cookers, refrigerators, ovens, blast chillers, freezers, blenders, etc.); hostess and steward uniforms; personal shade accessories; merchandising, giftware; travel agencies/tour operators; airline ticketing; insurance coverage; simultaneous interpretation services; local media/communications activities; publishing; printing of brochures and other materials; food products and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages; vehicle rental; international shipping and haulage services.
