To favour the participation of Italian small- and medium-size businesses and the development of new skills at the Dubai 2020 Universal Exhibition: this is the aim of the memorandum of understanding signed by Paolo Glisenti, the Commissioner General of Section for Italy at Expo 2020 Dubai, and Carlo Sangalli, the Chairman of Confcommercio (The Italian General Confederation of Enterprises, Professions and Self-Employment).
The memorandum aims to value the presence of Italian businesses operating in the trade, services, tourism and logistics sectors that experiment and adopt product and process innovations, in line with the themes of Italy’s participation in the Universal Exhibition, including the diffusion and promotion of innovative training programmes dedicated to the development of new entrepreneurial models and the creation of new skills.
This goal will be pursued through the organisation of events, initiatives and debates held in cities and the local territories, the prime locations where the Confcommercio system is represented, and through training events within the Expo aimed at enhancing new technologies and innovation.
